Pepa is trying to get over an affair. Her lover Ivan has left her a message saying he's going to Madrid and leaving the country. She needs to reach him. Over the course of one delirious day, she will interact with a desperate friend, a mysterious woman, two incompetent policemen, a cab driver who knows things, and a lawyer who doesn't help as much as he should.
