Catherine bets her business partner François, an arrogant, self-centered antiques dealer, that if François can produce a best friend, she will let him keep a valuable Greek vase recently acquired. If not, it’s hers. This proves to be not so easy for François. He meets Bruno, a trivia-spouting cabbie who has an easy way with people. He convinces Bruno to teach him how to make friends. The dénouement of this film is a gem.
