This film is about a small Tuscan village struggling to survive against Nazi persecution during the last chaotic moments of World War II. Six-year old Cecilia is fascinated by the world and everything in it. And when her family and neighbors flee their village to escape the clutches of the Nazis, it’s the most exciting moment of her life! But as the group journeys on foot in search of American liberators, the excitement turns to terror when the enemy closes in on them.
